During these uncertain times, how can we help?
See below to access our COVID-19 Resource Hub, and to explore our growing directory of both COVID-19-specific and virtual volunteering opportunities.
POWERPACKS is one of our programs that addresses food-insecure students at local schools. Through this program, we fuel young minds and bodies for learning by providing them weekend backpacks full of nutritious food for the entire school year. Consider assisting us by packing and delivering the backpacks to homeless and chronically hungry students in the Freeport/ Jones Creek area.
Please contact Deb Allen at 979.239.1225 or email@example.com for any questions.
All volunteers must pass a background check and submit car insurance documents to be considered for this role.

Feeding Brazosport's hungry through food distribution, education, collaboration, and advocacy.
Our mission is to feed Brazosport’s hungry through the distribution of food, education, collaboration and advocacy. We are all-volunteer and have been an active community member of the community for 30 years. Consider that one in ten individuals in Brazoria County lives below the poverty level. Caught between rising prices and tight budgets, families face the choice between affording food or other basic needs. At Brazosport Cares Food Pantry we envision a hunger-free community in which everyone has reliable access to affordable and nutritious food.
We'll work with your schedule.
