Volunteers at Pennsbury Manor
These volunteers are modeling the many different outfits created by our sewing program.

Pennsbury Manor is the reconstructed home of William Penn - prominent Quaker and founder of Pennsylvania! The quiet setting of this 43-acre estate offers a welcome relief from the hustle-and-bustle of modern life where visitors can experience 17th-century colonial life. Pennsbury hosts a number of events for the public each year: Charter Day, Brews & Bites, Dine Around the Manor,Tricks & Treats at the Manor, and Holly Nights. We need volunteers to do a multitude of jobs during these events. Some jobs require you to dress in period clothing, others do not, you get to choose! Examples of some jobs include doorkeeper, candlewatcher, parking help, serving refreshments, sales booths, craft demonstrating, helping with kids games, anwsering phones, and much more!
