Do you like working with other professional volunteers? Providing a welcoming and nurturing place for students and teachers? Then Students 2 Science, encourages you to join our great team! Your job, to make the morning coffee, greet students and teachers as they arrive in East Hanover for a day at the laborartory. Help us by taking pictures as students preform four science experiments along side corporate volunteers and post them on Facebook. Then it is time for lunch where Volunteers are well feed and food delivered daily for all program days. Your help coordinating this and making sure the day goes smoothly appreciated. Some light paperwork necessary and computer skills needed. It is a fun and easy day. Volunteers are eligible to join our Volunteer rewards program.
Hours-- 8:30AM-1:30PM
Two to three days a week until June.

Mission Statement
Students 2 Science, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) model program in New Jersey that bridges the needs of the public and private sectors. Our mission is to inspire, motivate, and educate elementary, middle and high school students to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM subjects). We do so by providing authentic, state-of- the-art laboratory experiences complete with modern instrumentation and pairing students with professional scientists. Additionally, we offer a remote, web-based virtual STEM experience that eliminates geographic and language constraints, broadening our reach to serve a wider audience. Teams of students, working collaboratively with scientific and STEM professionals who serve as role models, solve real life problems while being introduced to a wide variety of 21st century STEM career opportunities.
Description
Students 2 Science, Inc., is a New Jersey non-profit corporation inspiring, motivating, and educating students to pursue car eers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). Encouraging STEM subjects is especially important for minority, underrepresented, inner city and female students who traditionally have considered these fields of study to be out of reach.
