Manos de Cristo's adult education program provides classes in English as a Second Language, Computer Literacy, and Citizenship preparation to over 500 adults every year. Our growing education program relies almost entirely on volunteer instructors, and that's why we need you!
We are currently looking for volunteers to assist lead teachers in our ESL classes. We are looking for dedicated volunteers who can commit to helping out, once or twice a week, during the Summer 2023 semester (January 12 - July 27). Class hours are from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM or 6:00-9:00 PM.

Description
Manos de Cristo is a nonprofit organization committed to empowering low-income individuals by promoting dignity and self-reliance. Manos was founded in 1988, and the dental clinic opened its doors to the Austin community in 1990. Manos hosts a wide range of adult education classes; houses a food pantry, a clothes closet, and two computer labs.
