Time Commitment Required: One shift per week for a minimum of three months.
Experience Requirements: Knowledge about farm animal issues and veganism.
Responsibilities: Volunteers will assist with Los Angeles-area restaurant outreach, including: seeking permission for the placement of Farm Sanctuary’s Animal Acres "Visit" flier in veg-friendly establishments in order to increase our exposure in Los Angeles; following-up on existing flier placements to ensure sufficient quantity; and updating our database accordingly.
Qualifications: Knowledgeable about farm animal issues and veganism; ability to effectively communicate with the public, work independently, and follow detailed instructions; reliable and dependable; team player; positive attitude. Must be able to provide own transportation.
Specifications: We request a minimum commitment of three months, with a set schedule of one shift per week, to be determined.
