Are you hungry to help someone? Then volunteer as a driver for Meals on Wheels of Stark & Wayne Counties!
Drivers can volunteer according to their availability. For example, you can volunteer daily, weekly, or monthly. The time commitment for each delivery is only about 90 minutes, and Meals on Wheels provides training and mileage reimbursement.
In addition to providing a nutritious, hot or sack meals to clients, you will also provide them and their loved ones with peace of mind. For many clients, our volunteers are the only people they connect with all day, and our volunteers take great pride in knowing how much they impact the lives of these clients.
Our agency depends on more than 300 volunteers to deliver 1,400 meals daily to our homebound and hungry neighbors, but we need your help. Please consider volunteering for Meals on Wheels, and help us make a difference in the lives of our clients.

Mission Statement
Meals on Wheels of Stark & Wayne Counties is a community service providing meals in a social or home setting with the purpose of assisting individuals in remaining healthy, active, and independent of extended care facilities for as long as possible.
Description
Meals on Wheels of Stark & Wayne Counties provides nutritional support to homebound individuals of all ages. Services include delivery of hot meals, sack suppers, breakfast meals, frozen meals and liquid supplements (pending a physicians referral). Deliveries are Monday-Friday each week beginning at 10:45 a.m. and takes about 90 minutes from start to finish and flexible scheduling is available. We deliver from 18 satellite nutrition sites in two counties, so volunteers can deliver close to home or work.
