The Alzheimer's Association is expanding its Alz Meet Ups program and needs additional volunteers to make it happen!
Alz Meet Ups are social engagements that are part of our Power and Purpose Program. Power and Purpose is a program for those who are living with mild Alzheimer’s disease or memory disorder.
Alz Meet Ups have been primarily held in the Greater Boston area and now we want to expand to the Western, Central, and Southeast areas of Massachusetts, as well as in NH!
These social engagement events include trips to museums, nature hikes, lectures, and fitness activities.
Extensive training is provided for volunteers, however the ideal candidate will be familiar with the Alzheimer's Association's programs and services.

The Alzheimer's Association counts on 35,000 volunteers nationwide. Please join us in helping achieve our vision of creating a world without Alzheimer's disease while optimizing the quality of life for people who are affected by Alzheimer's. Whether you can spare a couple of hours a week or make a more significant time commitment, we hope you will consider joining this very special community. The Alzheimer's Association, MA/NH Chapter has office locations in Waltham, Springfield, Worcester, and Raynham, MA, and Bedford, NH.
