The Museum Store
Discover unique items and bring a little history home with you.

The Museum Store at LancasterHistory is in need of volunteers as Customer Service Associates. As a store volunteer, you will have access to flexible hours and days, 20% discount at the store, and an opportunity to help the museum's customers connect with history.

Regardless of vaccination status, all visitors, staff and volunteers are required to wear a face mask or covering while at LancasterHistory.

LancasterHistory.org exists to engage and educate the public about the people, places, and events that shaped Lancaster County within the broader context of the history of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the United States of America. As custodians of a complex past, we collect, preserve, exhibit, and make accessible materials chronicling Lancaster County's heritage as we seek to engage audiences in multi-layered stories of that past.

Description

Our ten-acre Campus of History features the historic grounds and gardens of President James Buchanan's Wheatland, the Louise Arnold Tanger Arboretum, and the award-winning, and environmentally-sustainable headquarters of LancasterHistory.org. On the Campus of History you will learn about Lancaster County, Pennsylvania-from stories of the Conestoga Indians and the Underground Railroad to the political legacy of James Buchanan and Thaddeus Stevens to the stories of your own family.
