Wildfires are devastating communities across California, causing more than 300,000 people to evacuate their homes and threatening many more. The Camp Fire in Northern California -- one of three blazing across the state -- is the most destructive in state history. We want to ensure that, if you are in an affected community, you find access to shelter. And if you are looking to help with disaster relief efforts, you know the most effective ways to contribute.
Be a POWERFUL FORCE for good in your community starting today! It just takes ten minutes to get started and you can change the world with just an hour or two a week. There is no set schedule for visits! You schedule what works for you and your new friend who is blind. It's so easy to pick up some groceries or socks when you are out buying your own groceries, sort their junk mail, read the important things and shred the rest, help organize their junk drawer or just go out for coffee. It is so easy and you will LOVE it!
