Comfort for America's Uniformed Services (Cause) is a 501(c)(3) organization that provides relaxation, recreation and resiliency programs to members of the US Armed Forces recuperating from wounds and injuries suffered in support of operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. We have programs at several locations across the United States and Germany. Learn more about Cause at www.cause-usa.org.
We are seeking licensed (any state licenses accepted) MTs who are comfortable working with amputees, individuals who have had recent surgery, and/or have been diagnosed with PTSD or TBI. Therapists must be possess a valid license, and have a current insurance policy.
Volunteers opportunities are on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month in Fort Belvoir, Virginia.

Description
Cause programs are designed to bring a bit of relaxation and fun into what are, for many, very challenging circumstances. But they also serve a much more serious purpose: that of helping wounded warriors begin the normalization process and the re-entry to home and community as they take their long journey back to health.
