Volunteers read books aloud to elementary classes weekly, bi-weekly or monthly. Sessions last about 30 minutes. The School Volunteer Association provides the books that are read and then donated to the classroom libraries.

Description
The School Volunteer Association of Bridgeport, Inc. is a non-profit organization that provides volunteer services to Bridgeport's Public Schools. The School Volunteer Association recruits, trains and places volunteers and also raises funds to support programs for city students.
