Adopt-A-Pet has a small satellite adoption center within Wilmette Pet Center. We are in need of dog walkers to come in and take dogs for walks and socialize them. Must be 18 yrs. of age or older. Email us to set up an orientation.

Mission Statement
ADOPT-A-PET is a not-for-profit humane organization dedicated to saving the lives of lost, abandoned or otherwise homeless dogs, cats, puppies and kittens and finding them new loving homes.
Description
ADOPT-A-PET provides a safe refuge and a second chance for homeless pets and finds them new "forever" homes. All animals at Adopt-A-Pet are found permanent loving homes. Animals remain with us for as long as it takes to find them just the right family.
ADOPT-A-PET does not own a shelter facility. Except for a small satellite adoption center in a local pet store, all of our animals are boarded at local animal hospitals, doggy daycares or placed in foster homes while waiting for adoption.
ADOPT-A-PET provides all necessary medical care for every animal. All animals are health-checked, vaccinated, treated for any medical problems, and spayed or neutered.
