Mitzvah Circle Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which provides material support to individuals and families dealing with crisis, poverty, homelessness and serious illness.
We're growing fast--and exhausting our weekday staff! We need clerical support to assist with routine office functions, including donor correspondence and light data entry. We are seeking individuals who share our passion for serving the most vulnerable, to assist with light clerical tasks for a few hours on weekdays. We need morning (9am to noon) and occasional evening (6-8pm) support, a few times each month. General office skills are required--a positive attitude, basic computer literacy, the ability to communicate clearly and cheerfully. Volunteers will receive training, and would be expected to answer phones, greet volunteers, assist volunteers in signing in and out, and such other clerical tasks as needed.
The job description is not glamorous, but is critical to ensuring continuity of service! This is a perfect opportunity for retirees, or individuals whose physical limitations might preclude more hands-on service in our warehouse.

Mitzvah Circle Foundation supports people through tragedy and crisis. We serve those walking along life's edge by providing individualized material support. We provide concrete help by working directly with recipients, or with referring organizations, to fulfill specific needs, especially when other assistance options are exhausted.
Mitzvah Circle Foundation joins in partnership with individuals, foundations, corporations, schools and other non-profit organizations that wish to provide community service, goods or financial support. Mitzvah Circle Foundation is not faith-based; we treat all people with kindness and compassion. We believe that changing the lives of people in need creates a better world for all.
