FBT is looking for a talented video editor that could help edit Zoom video calls for an Arts in Health program that will impact cancer patients and survivors. An effort to bring a positive interaction to patients during this post-COVID time.

Founded in 2010 as a 501(c)3 organization, Feel Beautiful Today’s (FBT) mission is to help support and transform the journey of cancer patients and survivors through Arts in Health programs in clinical settings. FBT serves patients with every type of cancer diagnosis, including kids and teens throughout Metro Atlanta. These brave patients spend many hours, days, months and years in difficult treatments and the arts can redirect their thoughts to a more positive and healing perspective through artistic tasks. These programs can lower stress levels, reduce anxiety, improve mood, foster a social environment, give a sense of accomplishment, and provide communication that helps patients feel less isolated, more normal, which can reduce depression and help improve their quality of life. Since 2010 more than 12,000 cancer patients have received our programs at no cost to them.

Experience and portfolio is a must. Please send us your resume, and samples of your work. We also like to conncet on linked to learn more about you.

Mission Statement

The FBT mission is to provide hope, love and encouragement to women of all ages affected by cancer through Arts in Health programs.

Description

Feel Beautiful Today (FBT) uniquely uses the power of creativity to support women affected by cancer. The FBT foundation is a well established 501(c)(3) staffed by volunteers, skillfully guided by a diverse board of directors from the professional community, and partnered with many of the well known cancer treatment centers and hospitals in the metro Atlanta area. The organization is rooted in our understanding that recovery of physical health goes hand in hand with faith, a peaceful soul and a positive state of mind. The FBT mission is to provide hope, love and encouragement to women of all ages affected by cancer through Arts in Health programs. Each program takes a uniquely creative approach toward delivering the patient in crisis a critical boost in their overall well being. The programs remind them that they are much more than a body that is going through the physical changes due to treatment. We seek to assure them that they are not alone in their battle against cancer. By developing three programs that, separately and together, involve the patient and caregiver(s), the medical profession, and the community at large, FBT successfully delivers a positive message of hope, support, and emotional encouragement. Our activities deliberately complement the medical community’s effort to foster a positive healing environment for patients undergoing treatment.
