About

Since Hurricane Katrina, all levels of government operate under a national framework of shared responsibility called Whole Community. The Whole Community framework recognizes that when disaster strikes, the initial services provided may not come from government, but rather from community organizations, churches, synagogues, mosques and other faith-based organizations.

We need volunteers to help identify community organizations, churches, synagogues, mosques and other faith-based organizations across Riverside and San Bernardino Counties along with the services they can provide before, during and after a disaster. We are partnering with a University of Redlands Geographic Information Systems student to develop an online tracking system to capture the information and track their preparedness progress.
