About

Deliver the Dream is a retreat program that enables families who are experiencing serious illness or crisis to regain strength, mend spirits and just be families and kids again.

We help families by organizing monthly three-day retreats. Our program invites up to 15 families, free of charge, to one of our retreat locations. Each family that attends has a member - whether it’s a child or parent - living with an illness such as Multiple Sclerosis, Cancer, Autism, HIV/AIDS or Cerebral Palsy.

Our retreats allow families to relax, enjoy time together, forge new friendships and create support groups with the other families living with similar circumstances. When one person in a family is sick, the entire family is impacted and there are very few organizations nationwide that focus on the whole family unit like Deliver the Dream. The program serves families throughout the state of Florida and has provided more than 135 retreats to nearly 6,500 family members since 2002.

Volunteers are needed for these retreat weekends. Each volunteer is paired up with a family as their "family pal". You will spend all weekend with this family - doing all the fun activities, eating meals with them, and really bonding.

Volunteers must be 18+ to volunteer alone or 16 with a parent.
