Looking for volunteers who can give The Clothing Bank Etc. 1 or 2 days a week on going. Hours between 10:00 and 2:00. We are closed Friday-Sunday.
You would be sorting, hanging clothing and organizing in the shopping area. We have a small houseware, book, and toy area as well to keep organized.
The Clothing Bank Etc. is well organized. We pride ourselves in making the client's shopping experience just like any retail store, though at no cost.
Join us in this rewarding volunteer experience. We do take pleasure in our little gab sessions while working. Please write a little something about yourself and why you would like to volunteer with us.

Mission Statement
The Cornerstone Foundation is a faith based non-profit with a mission to keep all people safe, fed, housed and clothed. We provide help to the community with a soup kitchen, two shelters, a food pantry, clothing bank, youth/outreach center and many vital annual initiatives.
Description
Our Community Soup Kitchen provides a dignified environment in which we serve over 40,000 meals each year. The Clothing BankEtc. distributes clothes free of charge. The Food Cupboard provides food for almost 200,000 meals per year- The Community Center provides recreational, social, educational and motivational activities and opportunities to the residents of Rockville/Vernon and the greater tri-town area. The Cornerstone Homeless Shelters provide over 5,000 "bed nights" each year. There is never any cost for any of Cornerstones services.

- A worker bee :) We would like to have a person who is friendly and outgoing who can get along with a variety of personalities. You would need to be able to lift bags of clothing to work on. Carry things in from the drop box.
