Be the volunteer to create a positive experience for our donors and customers! Locating materials, answering questions, and assiting with donation drop-offs are just a few of the ways you can foster positive relationships with our community. Don't feel like being social? This opportunity also gives volunteers the freedom to reorganize or create product displays and furniture staging, restock shelves with items from the Processing Room, and monitor our Sales Floor for clutter, outdated or broken merchandise, and safety risks.

Mission Statement

Habitat ReStore's mission is to be a fundraiser for our local Habitat for Humanity. All proceeds help finance Habitat for Humanity home building and repair projects. Above all, Habitat ReStore seeks to spread the mission of Habitat for Humanity and share in the belief that everyone should have a decent place to live.

Description

Habitat ReStore accepts donations of overstocked, secondhand, gently used, discontinued, and salvageable building materials from manufacturers, stores, contractors, and individuals. Not only does this help divert reusable material from the landfill, but it provides customers with affordable home-improvement materials and furniture. Some donations are used directly in builds to help Habitat for Humanity build simple, decent, affordable housing for low-income families. All proceeds help finance Habitat for Humanity building and repair projects.
