A lot of people are surprised to hear that MOW provides pet food to our recipients in addition to their home-delivered meals. This service keeps many of our seniors from having to decide between feeding themselves or feeding their furry companions.
You can help by working the table for our Holiday Awareness Campaign on the 23rd of this month! Our Holiday Awareness Campaign will support our PAWS (Pets Assisting Wellness in Seniors) program and will be held at the Southern Agriculture at 26th and Harvard. Volunteers for this event will share about the PAWS program (I will have a script prepared) and collect donations.
