Learning to Work are facilitating an event in Slough around being ready for the World of Work. Would you be available to join a Q&A where the students have the freedom to ask you questions about your career?
These events are designed to be highly interactive and lively. You will be working with a full year group (Yr 10 - 14/15yr olds) and a selection of Business Ambassadors like yourselves. The workshops give students an opportunity to examine their own strengths, skills, qualities, understand the skills that employers are looking for, prepare them for the workplace and meet local employers .

By providing a link between businesses and schools, Learning to Work creates opportunities to raise aspirations and develop the skills of today’s young people and have been providing this quality service to the world of education and business in the local area for over 20 years.
Description
We currently support over 30,000 children in the local area running curriculum events to assist local schools. The local area being Bracknell, Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead and Slough Borough. We reach out to support both Primary and Secondary education therefore age 4-19yrs. We look for corporate membership and school membership to fund the charitable organisation and have been running successfully for over two decades. We also survive off the generous volunteering offered by both individuals and corporations.
