WE are looking for an individual to join our circulation team. This individual should have previous customer service experience. Tasks will include checking items in/out, fine collections, notifying patrons of arrived requested items, assisting new patrons in obtaining a library account, placing hold requests, and other duties as necessary. Full training is provided on our circulation computer system. The volunteer is always scheduled with a staff member.
The position available are every Wednesday afternoon from 1pm - 5pm. We will work with your schedule to fulfill the training requirements. Initial training takes approximately 4 hours/day, 3 days/week for three to four weeks. This training is necessary for you to become comfortable to work, alongside a staff member, for 4 hours/week in your chosen time slot.
