Lowell Observatory's growing Fundraising team is looking for friendly, enthusiastic volunteers to help with the following, approximately 4-6 hours per week during regular business hours (with flexible scheduling):
Mailings; printing; organizing supplies; data entry.
Lowell Observatory is the home of the discovery of Pluto and the first evidence of the expanding universe. Our Fundraising team supports the Observatory's continued research efforts and public education.

Description
Lowell Observatory was founded in 1894 by Harvard-trained mathematician Percival Lowell. Since that time, the Observatory's research has resulted in exciting achievements including the discovery of Pluto and the first evidence of the expanding nature of the universe. Our staff continues this commitment to research and outreach today. About 80,000 visitors annually learn about astronomy and history through tours, telescope viewing, special events and exhibits.
