We at Plymouth have an exciting and rewarding oppertunity for those looking to help. Our RENEW Family Literacy program focuses on teaching refugees and immigrants english. We believe by doing so it'll strengthen the community and improve the lifes of our refugee population. As of now, we have a strong group of volunteers lead by a highly experienced ESL instructor. We are always looking for tutors, however there are many ways a volunteer can contribute.

RENEW Family Literacy seeks to build literacy among refugees In Des Moines. Here at Plymouth UCC we focus on small group or 1 on 1 teaching. We use nationally accredited material during class instruction. Our mission is to strengthen the community while improving the lives of our refugee population.
