UCAAN is an award winning grassroots cancer organization focused on bridging the gap between cancer patients and their immediate needs locally and antionwide.
We are looking for a volunteer who has experience in business development, growth, branding and expansion. Also someone with some experience in marketing and small business funding is wonderful.
We are looking to start a company that works with UCAAN by fundraising for our cause, We'd like to start it as a fundraiser and then grow it into a for profit, where a portion of the proceeds benefit our cause. The Fundraising idea is our creation: Frozen Dessert, which is vegan, healthier than most frozen treats on the market and contacts no suagr or chemicals. (This was featured on 11/6/2015 on CBS News Channel 2!
Someone who has had some experience with cancer is a plus (You, a family member or friend)
Someone who's passionate about our mission and our goal to become the largest financial support cancer organization in the country!

"While all of the other organizations are raising money for research, who is helping the patients? The reality is that while research has progressed and we have discovered treatments to prolong a cancer patients life, survivors are living longer lives with a worsened quality of life. There are more side effects that are making a cancer patients’ quality of life even more difficult. These side effects include but are not limited to brain damage, memory problems, infertility, degenerative disc disease, deterioration of teeth & jaw bones, congestive heart failure, and post traumatic stress disorder! "

This is United Cancer Advocacy Action Network’s Long Term Goal! To provide financial assistance to help survivors live a better quality of life - through chiropractic care, dental care, healthy eating/healthy living aid, gym memberships and more!
