Cape Fear Valley Hospice is currently seeking volunteers to provide support to our patients and families. Volunteers are offered a variety of opportunities to be of service, which includes: caregiver relief, companionship, assisting with errands, cleaning and cooking- amongst other things. At Cape Fear Valley Hospice and Palliative Care, meeting the physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs of each patient and family is our top priority. Our interdisciplinary hospice team of nurses, social workers, chaplains, counselors and trained volunteers offers the support patients and families need in the comfort and privacy of their home. Counseling and bereavement support services are available to families before and after a patient’s death. Our hospice program is about living, loving and making everyday count.
