Sort and Organize Medical Supplies - No Medical Background Needed!
Partners for World Health
As of June 1st, PWH is open to volunteering with new regulations to keep everyone safe and adhere to local guidelines! We are always looking for volunteers to sort and prepare donated medical supplies for distribution to under served populations and those in need. The tasks vary day to day- you may be opening boxes of items to sort, putting together kits of similar items (personal care kits, surgical kits, respiratory kits, etc) or filling boxes with medical supplies, for example. No medical background is needed!
Volunteering is available in person by appointment. The first step is to attend a new volunteer orientation now held over ZOOM, after which we will share with you the details of how to make an appointment and the precautions we have in place.
Start by filling out our volunteer application: https://secure.lglforms.com/form_engine/s/1ngIVk-kLp39wALng0ZKXQ and feel free to email our Volunteer Coordinator, Zoë Lewis, email@example.com with questions!
About Partners for World Health

To collect unused medical supplies from local medical facilities and distribute them to countries in need, effectively keeping waste out of Maine's landfills; to send local medical personnel on medical missions to developing countries; to educate our local community about global health issues
Partners for World Health is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that collects usable medical supplies from healthcare facilities in Maine, NH & MA which are being discarded due to government regulations and ships them to countries in need. In addition, we organize medical missions to Southeast Asia and Africa for doctors, nurses, and students. We strive to send a tema of medical personnel to every country where we ship a container of medical supplies. Lastly, we are committed to educating our community members about the importance of recycling and the disparities in healthcare around the world. We offer a free lecture series on the first Tuesday of the month from Sept - June in which a medical provider shares information and photographs from a medical service trip abroad
