Have a direct impact on saving lives by helping to manage our Adoption Program. Manage and coordinate Adoption Events and the Adoption process to help get more animals adopted. Enjoy the satisfaction of seeing animals go to their new fur-ever homes.

Responsibilities:

• Work with Events Coordinator to schedule adoption events
• Work with Events Coordinator on incoming requests for adoption events
• Find new venues for events
• Keep Zoho (animal tracking database) and Monthly Animal Reports updated with adoption info
• Ensure medical and vaccination paperwork is transferred to adopters
• Transfer microchip ownership to new adopters
• Send Adoption Applications to Application Processors to process
• Arrange Meet & Greets between potential adopters and fosters
• Make sure events are on website calendar and Events page
• Make sure there are cage cards and/or info flyers for all adoptable animals available at adoption events
• Post upcoming events on Social Media and website
• Collect Adoption Agreements and fees from Application Processors
• Make sure adopted animals are removed from website
• Work with Application Processors to get Adoption Packets to new adopters
• Help come up with new and creative ways to market the animals and events

Requirements:

• Good people and networking skills
• Good communication skills
• Computer and phone access
• Familiarity with Excel and Google Drive
• Ability to multitask and track multiple animals and events
• Ability to work independently and be part of a team
