Looking for leadership experience? Do you love working with kids? Do you love math? OneInMath volunteers develop valuable leadership and negotiation skills in a fun environment and have the satisfaction of helping kids learn math.
At OneInMath, we believe every kid should have a chance to succeed in Math! Come be part of the movement to help kids Kindergarten to 3rd grade to master basic arithmetic skills so they are more successful in the future!
We are looking for passionate teen volunteers to spend 2-3 hours a week during the school year at Alum Rock Library. You will be working with 4-5 kids every class while watching them learn and grow!

Description
Public libraries in California seek to engage the talents, skills and commitment of volunteers to serve the communities' information and literacy needs. Libraries offer a variety of skilled volunteer opportunities to make a meaningful contribution to library programs, operations, fundraising events and other community engagement functions. Skilled volunteers have opportunities to lead projects, work with teams of staff and volunteers, learn new skills, and have fun.
