Every year, the American Lung Association hosts it's annual Lung Force Expo. The Lung Force Expo is an educational conference aimed at promoting lung health and educating others about new lung research. If you or someone you know is knowledgeable and interested about lung-related health, we are inviting you to join the Lung Force Expo Committee.

The Lung Force Expo Committee members will partner with the Health Promotions Committee in planning the annual Lung Force Expo Educational Conference. Members will be able to plan for and organize the event as well as share their own information and personal tie to the cause. Lung Force Expo Committee members are invited to attend the conference and meet others who are connected with The American Lung Assocation's efforts in research, advocacy and education.

One breathe at a time, we are able to change the way that we live our lives by improving the air that we breath. Join the Amercian Lung Assocation and members of your community in improving lung health and educating others about how they can breath easier. We invite you to share your thoughts and your ideas on how we can make the Lung Force Expo a success!

For more information, please contact Rebecca Desir, Health Promotions Manager at 407-425-5864 ext. 1300 or Rebecca.Desir@lungse.org.

Description

For more than 120 years, people living in America have trusted the American Lung Association to protect their lungs, whether it is researching treatments & cures for lung disease, keeping kids off tobacco, including e-cigarettes, or advocating for laws that protect the air well all breathe. Because when you can't breathe, nothing else matters.

The American Lung Association's mission is to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease. We do this through education, advocacy, and research.

More than 20 million individuals each year are helped by the Lung Association's programs & initiatives. We support everyone in this country through education, advocacy, & research. We impact lives by working to defeat lung cancer, championing clean air for all, improving the quality of life for those living with lung disease & their families, and creating a tobacco free future.

In Central Florida, we host two signature fundraising events - The Fight For Air Climb & LUNG FORCE Run/Walk 5K. For more information about either event, please contact Central@lung.org.
