Since 1972, The Center has been a hub for African-American artistic and cultural expression in San Francisco.
The African American Art & Culture Complex's (AAACC's) Holiday Fair is the largest, longest-running event of its kind in San Francisco's historic Fillmore District.
The AAACC Annual Holiday Youth Performance Fair is celebrating 16 years of bringing joy to San Francisco's oldest black community. The fair, which is scheduled this year on Saturday, December 10th, includes photos with Santa, a petting zoo, pony rides, youth performances, carnival games, rides, food, and the giving of hundreds of toys and gifts to over 1000 of San Francisco's most disadvantaged children and families. Any support you can provide toward our goal could change the life of a young person.
AAACC is a community based, 501(c)3 arts and cultural organization. Our mission is to empower our community through Afro-centric artistic and cultural expression, mediums, education and programming.
We are dedicated to inspiring children and youth to serve as agents of change, cultivating their leadership skills and fostering a commitment to community service and activism. In addition, we encourage, support and promote the work of young, aspiring Bay Area artists. We also strive to develop partnerships with organizations that are similarly committed to our mission, and offer our space to the community for special events.
