Transition Projects provides Subsidized Housing workshops at 4 program sites as an introduction to the housing search process. An instructor is requested to teach the class, distribute materials and relay information in an accessible, applicable manner to attendees. Classes require a minimum of 1.5 hours per week (30 minutes of preparation and 1 hour of instruction). Interested volunteer candidates will receive an overview of the class expectations to support their learning process. This is a truly engaging opportunity to exchange resources in an empowering, educational manner to the homeless community as they seek homes of their own.
