At Places for People, we believe in a holistic approach of recovery, which is why employment is one of the key goals for all of our clients. Being able to have a job builds self-respect, confidence, and independence! Contribute to our clients recovery by volunteering with our Vocational Specialists department!

Experience working with adults with mental illnesses or a degree in a human services field is required for this rewarding opportunity. Working solely in the administrative part of this role does not require these qualifications.

Work with clients to help them prepare for interviews and applications! C onduct 1 time groups on topics like: resumes, interviewing, job searching, networking, and online job applications. D o bus training with people so they can get to work! Help put together lists of available jobs and distribute to teams so that our clients can know what is available! There is so much that you can do to help our clients become employed and to help forward our overall mission!
