Courageous Women Association provides support services, economic resources, and transitional housing to women and children impacted by domestic violence, prostitution and human trafficking, homelessness, and former incarceration.

We are a small nonprofit impacting over 1,000+ women and children annually, in our Bay Area impoverished and unhoused communities. Our mission is to provide a complete system of services designed to transform women and children out of poverty into full autonomy, through career development and placement, permanent housing, economic resources, and unlimited access to services that aid in healing and recovery.

We are searching for a volunteer grant writer providing their service to help find and write grants on our behalf for our transitional home, career development and economic empowerment program, Sister2Sister support groups, community food pantry, annual clothing and food drive, and commuter vehicles for trauma survivors. To be transparent, we simply do not have anyone on our team with the skills for grant writing and need support in this area and looking for someone to join our team.
