Description
Pea Pod Nutrition and Lactation Support, Inc. is dedicated to the nutritional health of women and children. We specialize in maternal nutrition with a focus on pre-natal, post-natal and lactation support as well as all aspects of pediatric nutrition. We offer an array of services to women and children including nutritional counseling, breastfeeding education, office based and in-home lactation consultations, group breastfeeding classes, group nutrition classes, cooking classes and gardening classes.
At Pea Pod we believe that supporting and educating mothers how to optimally nourish themselves and their children is the cornerstone to a healthy community. Our commitment to this belief is the foundation of the non-profit arm of our organization, the Pea Pod Assistance Program (PPAP), which provides low-cost and/or free nutrition and lactation education and support to low-income women and children.
