If you like working outside and seeing a project completed, this is a great opportunity for you. Volunteers do activities from brushing horses, cleaning stalls, building horse fences, fixing goat pens, putting up pole barns, cleaning wooded trails, picking berries, tilling a garden, mulching, and many more events. Work on a farm is fun and inspirational.

Before working with the veterans, 3 hours of volunteer training getting to know the farm animals and developing skill sets is required. Volunteers may also work in the garden; cultivating, weeding, and managing the raised beds of the garden during the summer months.

Many of the volunteers are also disabled veterans. Some people just want to get outside and be out in nature. This farm is that place.
