Do you like to meet new people? Do you enjoy having a good time? Have you been described as "social?" Are you retired or semi-retired looking for something to do with your time and talents? The Ohio Coalition for Adult Protective Services is looking for energetic, positive volunteers to promote OhioHOPES - Helping Ohio Protect and Empower Seniors project by manning booth/table displays at senior/wellness fairs, distributing printed program materials and representing the project at local collaborations.
This dynamic volunteer opportunity is available throughout Ohio. Volunteers will be asked to assist the organization by attending events in the volunteer's county of residence as well as in immediate neighboring counties. Initial events will be arranged by the Executive Director or designee. Successful volunteers will be offered the opportunity to secure additional engagements independently.
Local training will be provided. All program and display materials will be provided. Candidate must have sufficient and reliable transportation. Record keeping, though minimal, will be required. Help Ohio protect and empower seniors, join our team today!
