Mitchell Animal Rescue (MAR) is seeking a dependable person for the Transfer Coordinator position. This person arranges transport for animals that need transportation to their foster homes or to other rescues.

The Transfer Coordinator will work with the Transition Coordinator and Foster Coordinator to determine what animals require transport, the destinations of the animals and the methods of transport. The Transition Coordinator will use Facebook and other media (telephone calls, email, etc.) to find people/organizations to transport animals rescued by MAR.

We will train people who are willing to make and meet a commitment to do this task. The estimated time requirement is between 5-20 hours each week but may be slightly more or less, depending on how many animals are in the pound.

If interested, please fill out and submit a volunteer application at http://www.mitchellanimalrescue.org/volunteer-application.php
