Community Crisis Services, Inc. is seeking individuals to help those in crisis get connected to available resources. Volunteers should have communication skills, computer literacy and reliable transportation.
Areas of opportunities Include;
Internship / Volunteer - Individuals will receive extensive training from our qualified staff. Training tools include: Active listening, Crisis Intervention, Grief & Loss, Mental Health and 211 Information & Referral.
Community Outreach - Education in suicide prevention and depression to enlighten the community through speaking engagements and staffing booths at health fairs, conferences, schools, business and community events.
Office Reception - switchboard answering phones, greeting guests
Community Service Hours - High School students, organizations, etc.
Special Projects - renovation, painting, organizing storage room(s), etc.
