Platinum Minds is a non-profit leadership/ educational development program, with the mission to help academically motivated boys from underrepresented communities with leadership and educational development skills so they excel and become positive role models to the community. The organization supports young men and boys who face daily challenges to acquiring a good education. Many of these young men don't have the privilege of going to a safe high school, playing outside with their friends, going for a leisure walk in the park or riding their bikes. They face danger and criminal elements on their streets from dawn to dust and have to be on guard and fearful whenever they leave their homes.

Platinum Minds aims to provide the students it works with an opportunity for a better life. And that better life, begins with greater access to educational opportunities, a positive, encouraging and safe place to develop, and a environment where they feel accepted, valued and appreciated. Platinum Minds provides this environment.

Since 2007, Platinum Mind's programs have positively impacted hundreds of children from low performing school districts in New Jersey. Platinum Minds proudly states its 100% graduation rate from high school. Most of the schools that Platinum Minds scholars attend have a 70% graduation rate from high school or lower. Platinum Minds is changing lives and making a huge difference. However, this success has not been achieved alone. It is the result of the talent and dedication from volunteers like yourself that has made it possible for Platinum Minds to serve the talented students from these communities and to help them achieve to their full potential.

Platinum Minds will be having its annual fundraiser on May 3rd, 2018 in Basking Ridge, and they could truly use your help developing its You-tube page and capturing video at May 3rd event. This year the event theme is "United Together For A Brighter Future". This is Platinum Mind's major fundraiser for the year, and it's the revenue from this event that makes its possible for them to provide services to students in need.
