Surfcat Cafe & Adoptions is looking for cat lovers with bright minds and skilled professionals of all talents to be a part of a trend that is sweeping the nation! We are opening a cagefree cat lounge adoption center in Ventura County where people can come enjoy amazing locally sourced beverages and yummy treats and visit adoptable cats in a free roaming cat haven. We are just getting started and need people who are willing to dedicate a part of their busy schedule to help us make our dream a reality.

The Adoptions Committee Chair will oversee and coordinate other volunteers to help get as many cats adopted as possible. Some of these tasks you may do yourself, some you may wish or need to delegate to other volunteers. We're very flexible and open to your ideas!

• respond to public inquiries about adoptable animals
• review applications of potential adopters for suitability
• provide counseling to adopters to find the right pet
• maintain adoption listings on our website/petfinder
• coordinate with events & communications committee chairs to get cats adopted
