Northwest Danish Association is currently looking for volunteers to help out with our Spring Gala Auction and Dinner. The Auction is on March 11th 2017. We need volunteers to help out in preparation of the Auction (dates can be arranged) and on the day of the Auction.
We need volunteers to help with the following tasks:
- Pre-event: Mailings, finding auction donors, etc.
- Kitchen help and serving
- Bartending
- Cataloging
- Sorting
- Event setup
- Registering guests
- Auction closings
- Checking guests out
- Event clean up
- Other tasks as needed
Volunteers will be trained prior to the event.

The Northwest Danish Association enriches community life through cultural exchange and social outreach.
Description
The organization preserves and shares Danish traditions, culture, and values with others. Through programs and events, the Association advocates for cultural diversity and cross-cultural understanding, key notions in today's globalizing world. Various programs, meals and activities are sponsored for children, families, students, and the elderly. Programs include scholarship programs for students as well as educational camps for children. The organization also has an eldercare program, which includes the distribution of Lifeline Medical Alert Systems, walkers, and wheelchairs.
