Take your incredible nursing skills and heart to serve others and volunteer in our Nurses in Bangladesh program!
IDEAS partners with a health center that brings hope and healing for body, mind, and spirit to the neglected in Bangladesh. Currently there is one medical doctor (family medicine) working with several nurses and a lab technician at a stand alone clinic that provides primary health care to the surrounding community, as well as a weekly mobile clinic to schools and social centers. The center also provides medical care to nearly 100 orphans at the Home of Love Orphanage who live nearby.
The goal of the center is to grow into a small hospital that will be able to provide comprehensive health care to their community. It currently operates five days a week from 8 AM to 5 PM with no inpatient care. The center does have a lab and facilities for simple medical procedures.
The nurses would work with our resident physician to provide care for patients and to train existing Bangladeshi nurses and para-medical staff.

IDEAS works internationally in over 13 countries to demonstrate love, holistically serving among the forgotten and overlooked in order to see transformed lives in communities of contagious hope.
Our unique methodology offers compelling opportunity to Christian professionals to leverage their education, skills and passions in transformative projects to restore hope among the communities we serve. We affirm that God equips professionals to effectively engage every workplace and community through attitudes, knowledge, relationships and practice. We offer professional opportunities in five areas: agriculture, business, community development, education, and health/well-being. These projects deliver tangible value in community and provide for critical encounters and relationships that embody, inform and offer true and lasting hope.
