Bring brightness and cheer to our cancer patients by visiting with them and sharing in their lives. Help them eat meals, read mail, write letters, make phone calls and participate in activities. Whether reading aloud, playing cards, chatting, or providing support, visits from volunteers encourage healing and ease the patient's hospital stay.
This opportunity is only available on weekdays from 9:00am to 4:00pm. Volunteers must be able to serve one 4-hour shift, same day and time, each week for at least six months. We are unable to accept short-term volunteers.
