Join a small non-profit elementary school located in Puerto Jimenéz on the Osa Peninsula of Costa Rica. The main goal of the school is to give Costa Rican children greater opportunities through developing their critical thinking skills and creativity . Volunteers will have opportunity to assist full-time teachers in the classroom, provide private tutoring, supervise lunch and play times, participate in school events and assist with administration and maintenance tasks.
You can join for 2 weeks up to 12 weeks all year round.
Individuals, groups and families all welcome.
Cost includes lodging in homestay, 3 meals a day, training & supervision, materials; starts at £420.

The main areas of focus are wildlife and habitat conservation, environmental education and management, permaculture and organic agriculture and cultural development. We run projects in various countries around the world.
