EDRC is a local non-profit that helps provide resources and support for those struggling with eating disorders and body image. We also do education and outreach in the community and with healthcare providers to raise awareness and understanding of eating disorders.
We are holding a 10-year celebration event on May 14th, 2016 and are looking for an event planner to head up the organization and details of this important event.
Necessary skills: organization, attention to details, teamwork, familiarity with event planning and non-profits, ability to be flexible and work in office and remotely

Eating Disorders Resource Center (EDRC) strives to increase awareness and understanding of eating disorders for the general public and for health professionals and to promote early diagnosis, effective treatment, and recovery.
Description
The EDRC provides resources and information regarding in-patient and community based treatment programs in the Silicon Valley area, as well as facilitating monthly support groups so that sufferers and their families and friends have the opportunity to meet together and learn from each other.
