Do you like story telling? History? Want to help your community by sharing a passion? Want to practice public speaking skills?
The National Postal Museum is looking for volunteers to lead engaging 45-minute guided tours through the museum's galleries. Volunteers tell a unique narrative of postal history and stamp collecting through exhibitions, objects and props. Tours start at 11:30am, but volunteers spend time in the galleries chatting to visitors before and after tours. Volunteers will be trained in museum content and story telling skills and allowed to let their own interests shape their tour. Come and be a part of the hidden gem of the Smithsonian, and the greater community of DC, by sharing your skills and passion.
