About Mission Be: Mission Be is a start-up non-profit bringing mindfulness to schools and communities as an antidote to stress, violence, bullying and addiction. Mindfulness can be described as the practice of paying attention in the present moment, and doing it intentionally and with non-judgment. Typical activities in our mindfulness programs include interactive lessons on the science of mindfulness, guided breathing practices, role plays, affirmations, and mindful sitting, walking, eating, listening and speaking exercises.
