Description
Gaspard&Dancers (G&D) is an emerging modern dance company based in Durham North Carolina. In a city with a rich, diverse community of artists, performers and creative energies, opportunities for collaboration abound. We've worked with local musicians, composers, photographers, dance and film festivals. The company was founded in 2009 by former Pilobolus dancer Gaspard Louis. The company has toured across the state of NC conducting dance workshop and performing. We recently performed at Duke University with live music by Mallarme Chamber Player, a local professional group from Durham. We made our NY debut performance on Sept 25 when we presented a trilogy about the Haiti earthquake at Pace University in NYC.
