Members of the Noggineers Club knit or crochet newborn baby caps and lap blankets. The group provides the patterns and specifications. Each volunteer supplies their own yarn. Volunteers work from home and at their own pace. The Noggineers meet bi-monthly at Saint Joseph East to turn in completed projects.

KentuckyOne Health, which is made up of Saint Joseph Hospital, Saint Joseph East, Saint Joseph Jessamine and several others, is a member of Catholic Health Initiatives. Saint Joseph's employees, physicians and volunteers are empowered to carry out the health care ministry begun by the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth.
