During these uncertain times, how can we help?
See below to access our COVID-19 Resource Hub, and to explore our growing directory of COVID-19-specific and virtual volunteering opportunities.
All over Snohomish County there are students who could use a little help with their schoolwork. If you think reading and writing are important skills to have this is for you.
It doesn't matter where you live in Snohomish County we have an opportunities to get involved. Time requirements can be as little as an hour a day after school, one day a week.
Lending your ears and a little time to these students offers a big payback in terms of student achievement.
It is not necessary that you have teaching or tutoring experience. You only need to be willing to help.
Here's a chance to interact with the younger generation. By volunteering you give them a chance to be indepedent, self sufficient adults. How can that be a bad thing?
This opportunity posted by the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) assisting those over age 55 with finding volunteer opportunities.
You do not have to be 55 to participate.
